The Department of Microbiology and Virology carries out its activities on the basis of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, standard regulations on an educational institution of higher professional education and higher professional education of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulations on the department, decisions of the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan , implements the decisions of the Academic Council and orders of the rector of the Tajik National University and at the same time the instructions and orders of the rector’s office, plans and activities of the faculty. During its newly created activities (since September 30, 2021), the department has completed certain work in the fields of education, science, education and cooperation.
The Department of Microbiology and Virology of the Faculty of Medicine was created on September 30, 2021 on the basis of the Department of Functional Diagnostics and Clinical Laboratory. Since September 2022, Bozorova Rukhshona was appointed head of the department and is still the head of the department.

On the activities of the Department of Microbiology and Virology of the Tajik National University in the 2022-2023 academic year
Introduction
In 2022-2023, in the course of its activities, the department fully implements the curriculum in the field of science, on the research topic of the department, according to the plan, and based on its results publishes scientific articles in various domestic and foreign journals.
At the same time, teachers and staff of the department act in various directions on the instructions and instructions of the university board in the reporting year and contribute to their implementation. In order to ensure the efficiency of the department, members of the department, under the leadership of the head of the department, Bozorova Rukhshona Saifuddinovna, carry out the instructions and instructions of the Leader of the Nation in the direction of “Twenty years of preparation and development of natural science, exact and mathematical subjects in the field of science and education (2020-2040)”, taking into account needs of society and modern science, a lot of work is being done to attract experienced and practical specialists, strengthening the mutual participation of teachers in each other’s classes, organizing open and model classes with the participation of experienced and experienced teachers, round tables and ongoing seminars on various aspects of science and education. Educational work
Teachers of the Department of Microbiology and Virology of the Faculty of Medicine, along with fulfilling their teaching load, make a great contribution to the education of students.
